ROOHI’S MOZZARELLA & CHEDDAR SCONES

Ingredients

1/2 cup spring onions
1/4 cup Parsley, fresh
1 tsp Rosemary, fresh
1 tbsp Thyme, fresh leaves

Refrigerated

1 Egg

Baking & Spices

cups All-purpose flour
1 tbsp Baking powder
1 Black Pepper
1 Paprika
1/2 tsp Salt
1 Sea Salt
1 1/4 tsp Sugar

Dairy

5 tbsp Butter unsalted
2/3 cup Milk
2 cups RRO Shredded Cheddar/ Mozzarella
Add chopped green chilies to taste

Don’t forget the egg wash
Bake 180c /350F
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until lightly browned on the outside. They should lift easily from the pan and the center will no longer feel doughy.
