FROM ROOHI’S KITCHEN TO YOURS PEACH COBBLER

Ingredients:

  • 7 to 8 Peaches peeled & sliced
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp. Cinnamon Powder
  • 1½ tsp. Baking Powder
  • ½ tsp. Sea Salt
  • 1/2 cup hot milk
  • A dash of nutmeg
  • 1/3rd cup + 3/4th cup Sugar
  • 150g RRO Dairy Unsalted White Butter
  • 1 tsp. Vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp. tapioca flour or cornstarch

 

Instructions:

In a bowl combine flour, baking powder, nutmeg, 3/4 cup sugar and salt. Add butter and the hot milk, vanilla essence and mix thoroughly.

In a separate bowl place the peach slices and add 1/3 cup sugar, cinnamon and corn starch.

Prepare a 9” pan, combine the dough and the peaches and pour the mix into the pan. Bake for 30 minutes at 425°. Peach cobbler is best enjoyed warm, right after it is baked.
