Serves four
Ingredients:
- 50g Express Foods Harvest Crunch Jumbo White Oats
- 50g Express Foods Harvest Crunch Quick Cooking White Oats
- ½ tsp. table salt
- 1 tsp. ground cinnamon
- 250ml semi skimmed milk or almond milk or coconut milk
- 250ml water
- 1 tbsp. RRO Unsalted White Butter
- 2 very ripe bananas, each cut into 6 slices
- 8 tbsp. honey
- 300g thick yogurt, to serve
- Place the oats, salt, cinnamon, milk and water in a medium-size saucepan over low to moderate heat. Stir regularly for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Heat the butter in a medium-size frying pan over high heat, add the banana slices and brown them slightly on each side.
- Add honey, then remove from heat.
- When the oats are cooked and have soaked up most of the liquid, divide the porridge between four serving bowls.
- Place three slices of banana and a large dollop of yogurt on each.
- Serve immediately.
